Operation At The Whiskey Barn Results In Alcohol Charges For N.C. Woman

On Friday, August 20, 2024, law enforcement with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office as well as agents with South Carolina Law Enforcement conducted and operation at The Whiskey Barn, located at 2722 Hwy. 9 West in Dillon County.

Law enforcement conducted an operation on this location due to complaints that have been made to law enforcement about the sales of alcoholic liquors and beer while being unlicensed.
While following up with this complaint it was determined by law enforcement that this location was selling beer and liquor while not having a license to do so. At the conclusion of this investigation, law enforcement did execute a search warrant on this bar that led to the seizure of all alcoholic beverage stored in the facility as well as the arrest of Kimberly Ann Oxendine, age 41, of Maxton, N.C.
Charges are as follows:
-Alcohol/Failure to Secure Required Beer or Wine Permit.
-Alcohol/Unlawful Storage or Possession of Alcohol liquors in a place of business.
-Alcohol/ Unlawful Sale, Manufacture, etc, of Alcoholic Liquors.
