44th Beach Ball Classic Will Feature Top High School Teams and Return of BBC and NBA Alum Raymond Felton

Myrtle Beach, SC – The 44th Annual Beach Ball Classic returns to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center from December 27-30, 2024, promising fans four days of thrilling basketball action as elite high school teams from across the country face off in one of the nation’s premier holiday tournaments. This year’s event will not only showcase rising basketball stars but also welcomes back Raymond Felton, NBA veteran and Beach Ball Classic alumnus, now returning as a head coach.
Felton, a standout during his high school years at Latta High School (SC) and a former star at the University of North Carolina, is best known for his illustrious NBA career with teams such as the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. This year, he takes the helm as head coach of Pace Academy (TX), bringing his experience and passion back to the Beach Ball Classic, where his basketball journey first gained national recognition.
“It’s a full-circle moment for me to come back to the Beach Ball Classic, but this time on the sidelines,” said Felton. “This tournament played a huge part in my development as a player, and I’m excited to now guide the next generation of young talent in this same incredible environment.”

Game 4 (Traditional) – 5:15 PM: St. John’s (DC) vs. Myrtle Beach (SC)
