$1.5 Million Check Presented To County For New Emergency Operations Center

Senator Kent Williams and Representative Jackie Hayes presented the Dillon County Council with a $1.5 million check this morning for a new Emergency Operations Center.
Representative Jackie Hayes said that the delegation was here to help, and when asked, they deliver. He said this also shows that he and Senator Williams have the relationships in place to make things happen for rural South Carolina.
Senator Williams said this is another great day for Dillon County. This is a community interest project and is another great example of a partnership. He said this will bring a state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center to Dillon County.
Councilman Stevie Grice thanked Representative Hayes and Senator Williams for helping bring this project to a reality.
